Nine of stayed for our second time in Cabin 109. We love the glass enclosed porch/side of the cabin as we have two little boys( my great nephews 2 1/2 and 1 1/2) who have lots of room to play. This is my 11th season coming to Oak Haven. I have stayed in about 20 different cabins. They keep getting better and better. The staff have always treated me great. I want to complement the towel service staff for their honesty as I left $100 cash lay out on my bath room sink while we went out to eat. When we came back the towels had been changed and my money was still there. Great resort, great staff!!!! I'll be back late summer!!!!!!

WE STAYED BACK IN FEB. IN #57. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CABIN. I RECOMMEND THIS CABIN TO ANYONE. THE DECOR IS BEAUTIFUL. TWO HOT TUBS AT ONE CABIN. THERE ARE MANY CABIN DEVELOPMENTS IN THE SMOKIES BUT NONE LIKE OAKHAVEN. WE HAVE BEEN STAYING THERE FOR OVER 10 YRS. AND JUST WHEN YOU THINK IT COULDN'T GET ANY BETTER, IT DOES. TAKE A LOOK AT #57, 122,111,59 98,79, JUST TO NAME A FEW. THANKS TO THE WONDERFUL STAFF FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL TIMES WE HAVE ENJOYED. WE SHALL SEE YOU SOON.

Our Stay in Cabin #103

I'm writing representing a group of 10 of us that recently stayed (the last weekend in April, 2009) in cabin #103. We are a group of women who gather daily in the Communtiy thread of Bob Greene's Best Life Diet site. We all started on the program a little more than a year ago and have been there daily to support each other. After about 6 months we decided we needed to get together and meet in person. One of our members from IL had vacationed for a family reunion at Oak Haven and she directed us to the website. With the wonderful location convenient to Knoxville airport we decided it was the place to fly into from all over the country. All of our needs were met in the wonderful cabin and the service was terrific as well. Ten women can sure use towels and when we requested more, you were right there at the front door. You can be sure that all of us will be recommending Oak Haven Resort to anyone wanting a fun but quiet as well, vacation get-a-way. Thanks for making it possible for us gals to finally meet.

I have never taken the time to post a comment on my travel (lodging) experiences - until now. I stayed in cabin #33 in March 2009. My family had one of the best stays ever. The cabin was beautiful. It was exactly what I had pictured it would be by looking at the information on the web site. The views were spectacular. The staff at check-in were extremely nice and very helpful with any questions that I had. It's a very nice place. I will highly recommend it to anyone. It was definitely a home away from home. I hope to return to Oak Haven on my next trip to the Smokies. Keep up the fabulous work.

Lately, there have been several letters written regarding our poor hospitality towards tourists. I would like to give two examples of outstanding service and kindness given in our area.

This past Monday my family and I went to Dollywood. I am confined to a wheelchair due to a knee injury. We went inside Dolly's Museum and were greeted by a very friendly woman by the name of Karen. She assisted me inside and stayed with us for several minutes.

I had to go to the ladies room and since it was very difficult for me to get to the nearest one quickly, she came to check on me. She escorted me back to the museum and made sure I rejoined my family safely. She was so warm and friendly, we will make sure to go visit her again soon.

Another outstanding event happened with my sister and her family who were here visiting from Illinois for the past week. We made reservations for them to stay at the Oak Haven Resort in Sevierville. We reserved a beautiful two-bedroom cabin.

Two days before they arrived, they received a call from the resort informing them that they had upgraded the cabin to a three-bedroom with a game room. When they checked in, they were upgraded again to a five-bedroom, three-floor cabin with a game room, for the same price as the two-bedroom was.

This was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We will definitely recommend Oak Haven Resort to all of our family and friends who visit the area.

Both of these incidents confirm there are good people with big hearts in this area.

Corporate Retreat

For the past three years our company has utilized cabins, at Oak Haven, for our yearly board and management planning sessions. Families are also invited. Everyone enjoys the on-site accommodations as well as the surrounding area for various activities.We rent several cabins always making changes along the way and the customer service for Oak Haven always gets it right. Cabin 82

We left cabin # 82 yesterday after spending 4 nights with our 6 siblings and their spouses. We just wanted to comment on the cabin- it was superb. we enjoyed the attention paid to decorating, very homey feeling, comfortable beds and the kitchen for us was great because we cooked every meal in and the kitchen was well stocked with the appropriate pots and pans, utensils,everything was great - we hope to come back next March, my one brother in law has altzheimers and we don't know how long he will be able to be among us but we pray he will, thank you for a beautiful vacation and a beautiful cabin

We wanted to share our great experience in Cabin 36 at Oak Haven Resort. This was the perfect getaway trip for Valentine's Day and the amenities and decor of this cabin were extremely beautiful! I forgot to sign the guestbook in the cabin and really wanted to share my comments on the cabin. Oak Haven Resort will definitely be our choice of stay when my husband and I return to the beautiful Tennessee mountains and we will refer everyone we know!

Favorite Place

Oak Haven is our favorite place. My husband and I spent our honeymoon there in April 2004. We loved it so much that we came back two years later. On our recommendation, my son and his wife spent their honeymoon there in October 2007 and they loved it as much as we do. They can't wait to return. My husband and I plan on coming back again in April 2009, but we would like to stay longer than we ever have before. We always hate to leave. We can't say enough good things about Oak Haven. It is a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place. I am looking forward to walking the trails on our next visit. I would also like to visit the spa while my husband goes fishing one day. Your staff has always been very helpful and courteous. We have always found our cabin to be very clean, very comfortable and very beautiful. It's our special place. We are so glad we found Oak Haven.
